This concept for Selina had worked in other places in South America apparently. Another few concerns, the section we were staying in the grounds of the hotel they had a co-work thing,where companies, organizations can rent the space out for private events ( not uncommon in hotels) but the issue was one event was playing loud music until late and this was supposed to be the second best room in the hotel and when there was an event on we didn't feel welcome, maybe an invite would be appreciated haha. Well accept for one staff member named Jorge who was working on the night shift he was nice, approachable and friendly (Be like Jorge ). After that we didn't feel comfortable approaching staff with our concerns. At breakfast the next morning one girl serving us thought it was her job to be cool not be attentive to our needs and when we enquired about breakfast no one was really sure what we were entiltled too as we paid extra for breakfast priviledge. As the stay went on we found many times the staff were unprofessional. This was a good hotel after all for the price hmmm. We also found on arrival the staff well one particular staff member at reception was unprofessional upon dealing with an unhappy guest so this did not fill us with hope going forward.
